Abstract
In my thesis entitled "Dynamics NAV 2018 Finance module developments at Pannonia Bio Zrt, the aim is to present two Navision developments concerning the finance module from the requirement to the delivery. Both developments were done in the year 2021. Of course, it is not possible to talk about an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system without describing the system itself, so the first part of the second chapter of my thesis is about the general description of ERP systems. In the second part I will introduce the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2018 ERP system. The introduction of the business environment of Pannonia Bio Zrt is also necessary to understand the need of these developments, to place the two developments in a real corporate environment. The two major projects I am writing about are intended to simplify the work of accounting and controlling for month-end closing. I try to present both developments in a thorough way that is clear to the reader. Besides presenting the two major projects, I have dedicated a separate chapter to presenting the object and field types related to Navision, so it is more transparent than if I had stuck it in footnotes. In the last chapter I have included my comments and ideas for future improvements.
