Abstract
In my dissertation I investigated the applicability of drones during firefighting interventions. In accordance with the set goal, I undertook to demonstrate the feasibility of unmanned aerial vehicles and firefighting and technical rescue tasks. In the first part of the dissertation, I presented the historical development of technology, collecting the most important milestones. I also reviewed the characteristics, types, operation, and conditions of use of unmanned aerial vehicles. This includes, among other things, grouping according to different aspects and the legal background, which I believe is essential for controlled use. I have examined the areas in which the use of drones may arise in the course of firefighting, I have presented the means by which these drones must be equipped in order for tasks to be performed in the field of firefighting only to be seen. At the same time, I believe in how diverse the field of firefighting and technical rescue is and in most cases the intervention is specific. In my opinion, the application possibilities presented have shed enough light on the indisputable advantages and legitimacy of drone technology. I examined the aspects of firefighting interventions in terms of drone technology and concluded that a single type of drone type and system would not be fortunate due to the variety of tasks. Along these lines, I set up requirements that I examined and proposed two types of devices, one of which is a small complex device that can support rapid discovery locally. The other is a larger drone with special accessories, which is centralized, but can be alerted to the scene of an accident if necessary. In conclusion, in the 21st century, there is no doubt that unmanned aerial vehicles have a place in almost every area of firefighting intervention.
